I feel the urge to blog and have nothing really interesting to blog about, so I thought I would do this little survey about 2008:

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before? move to Texas
2. Did you keep your New Year’s Resolutions in '08, and have you made some for '09? I didn't really make them in '08, and I'm not making any in '09.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? YES! Andrew was born on October 8 & Kaylea was born on Nov. 18
4. Did anyone close to you die? Michael's grandmother and aunt
5. What countries did you visit? NONE.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? a puppy
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Burks' Bumpin' Christmas--one of the best
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? getting an A in Dr. Jones' class
9. What was your biggest failure? I turned in an incomplete assignment accidentally and got a 75...that was pretty tragic.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? nope
11. What was the best thing you bought? a tie between the GPS and the Wii
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Michael getting his Master's
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? the press harassing poor Britney Spears
14. Where did most of your money go? Rent
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? babies being born and meeting them for the first time
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? You're Here by Francesca Battistelli (probably spelled that wrong)
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:a) happier or sadder? happier (b) thinner or fatter? same c) richer or poorer? same
18. What do you wish you’d done more of? spending quality time with Michael/spending quality time with the Lord
19. What do you wish you’d done less of? whining and complaing/dinging my bell (Stephen that's for you)
20. How did you spend Christmas? with my family
21. Did you fall in love in 2008? I stayed in love with my husband
22. What was your favorite TV program? 24 and Lost!!!!
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? well....hate is a strong word. Stongly dislike? nah...not anyone I can think of...the Devil? Does he count?
24. What was the best book you read? oooo that is tough! I read a LOT last year. probably the Harry Potter series as far as fiction reading goes...
25. What was your greatest musical discovery? yeah...none of those...
26. What did you want and get? a Wii...
27. What did you want and not get? a puppy
28. What was your favorite film of this year? yeah...nothing stands out as fabulous
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I was 23 and I taught 2nd grade
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? nothing my year was fabulous
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? blue jeans and a baby T
32. What kept you sane? Michael
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I've always been quite fond of Reese although I surely do love Keifer Sutherland now...
34. What political issue stirred you the most? well...it was an election year...but abortion is a big issue with me...I am Pro-LIFE
35. Who did you miss? my mommy and my daddy, Stephen and Ashley, Nanny and Pa, my kids from 2nd grade
36. Who was the best new person you met? Alyson Mansur
