Totally Tots

So I'm "trying" to do some educational activities with Thomas. I got this idea from the website 1plus1plus1equals1. He basically just played with the puff balls and put them in the bowls. Then he threw the bowls across the room and ate the puff balls. A good time was had by all. While he was annihilating  playing, I talked about the colors and the sizes of the balls he played with. Maybe he learned something.

A Day on Campus

Thomas and I were getting bored with the park. Plus it was super hot. So we spent the morning on MSU's campus a few weeks ago. First, he played by the Chapel of Memories bell tower and watched the fountains. Then we had a picnic on the Drill Field. We rounded out the day with Thomas (okay and mommy too!) playing in the fountain by the Health Center. He LOVED this! As you can tell...

Memorial Day

On Memorial day, we spent the afternoon relaxing in the backyard. I'm sure the neighbors found great humor in watching the two grown adults lay in the baby pool with the toddler. It was hot. Little man is growing to love the water. But he wants it on his terms. Enjoy the pics!

They Just Couldn't Keep Their Hands Off Each Other

A few weekends ago, some friends from college spent the night with us. Their little girl is about six months old. Sweet Noah was so patient with Thomas. He was a bit aggressive with her. She was a trooper! Thomas was also quite infatuated with Emma, the dog. He squealed in delight chasing her around the house!!

Thomas did some hand prints for his Mother's Day gifts. He seemed to actually enjoy the paint this time, so I let him continue to paint on some paper. He was timid at first but really enjoyed it. He wanted to paint jar on his paper though (see video).

Ever since we visited Martin, Thomas has been obsessed with the couch. Martin also really likes the couch. :) Here he is being silly on the couch:

Thomas Goes to the Zoo

 After tax season, we went to Memphis to celebrate Daddy being done! We spent the night with Bryan, Becca, and Martin and then hit the zoo the next day with Martin and Becca (Poor Bryan had to work! :() Thomas enjoyed the polar bears and grizzly bears the most. He was amazed at watching the polar bear swim, and kept saying "uh, uh" towards the grizzlies while they were eating. Come to think of it, maybe he just wanted a snack!
