They Just Couldn't Keep Their Hands Off Each Other

A few weekends ago, some friends from college spent the night with us. Their little girl is about six months old. Sweet Noah was so patient with Thomas. He was a bit aggressive with her. She was a trooper! Thomas was also quite infatuated with Emma, the dog. He squealed in delight chasing her around the house!!

Thomas did some hand prints for his Mother's Day gifts. He seemed to actually enjoy the paint this time, so I let him continue to paint on some paper. He was timid at first but really enjoyed it. He wanted to paint jar on his paper though (see video).
Ready to get to painting!

Testing it out.

The artist at work!
Ever since we visited Martin, Thomas has been obsessed with the couch. Martin also really likes the couch. :) Here he is being silly on the couch:
He is also obsessed with having a quilt on him. And he wants the quilt completely to himself.

Running up and down the couch!
Pure. Silliness.

Thomas Goes to the Zoo

After tax season, we went to Memphis to celebrate Daddy being done! We spent the night with Bryan, Becca, and Martin and then hit the zoo the next day with Martin and Becca (Poor Bryan had to work! :() Thomas enjoyed the polar bears and grizzly bears the most. He was amazed at watching the polar bear swim, and kept saying "uh, uh" towards the grizzlies while they were eating. Come to think of it, maybe he just wanted a snack!
Family pic in front of the giraffes. Thomas loves giraffes.

Checking out the giraffe.

Riding a dinosaur.

We had to keep our distance from the dino. Thomas was a little frightened.

Here is a video of Thomas pushing Martin around the house. They had a BLAST! Thomas got a turn, too!

Thomas Goes to GymKids

Starkville Gymnastics has been kind enough to open their gym up to parents of preschoolers for a free play twice a week. We have taken Thomas a few times, and he enjoys running around. Here are some pics:
Throwing the football. His favorite part is to run around where the girls do their floor routine. It's kind of springy.

Sliding down the inflatable slide.

Checking out the inside of the big inflatable with Daddy.

Checking to be sure Daddy is close by.

"Hey! Somebody get me out of jail!"

Thomas Goes to Vet School

Several weeks ago we went with our small group to the open house at the vet school. One of our leaders was (he just graduated!) a student at the vet school, so we had a personal tour guide!
Thomas petting the horse!

He loved the horse! He kept pointing at it and hollering.

He was also very fascinated by this particular part of the hall. We could not get him to keep walking!

Checking out the bunny.

I think that's a goat?

Pretty sure that's a goat.

100% that's a pig.

Climbing the stairs 436 times.

All the small group kids. Thomas was super stoked about an attempt to grab Wade's head. Ellington was appalled by these boys' behavior!

Blogging from HOME!

Finally, and it has not been an easy road. The Metrocast internet didn't work out. Apparently it stops 5 houses down on our side of the street. Sad. Sad. Day.

So I went back to AT&T and pleaded with the people that I desperately needed internet. Enter making my iPhone a personal hotspot. Not the perfect solution because we have a 5MB monthly limit, but a solution nonetheless. And a WAY cheaper solution than home internet. I'll take it. please and thank you.

So here I am. Blogging from home. For the first time in 4 months! Crazy!

I leave you with a picture of Thomas because we all know that's the only reason you click over:

Thomas is delighted that Duke has come to visit him. The boy really needs a puppy, but his mama is too lazy and his daddy is too cheap.
